Young Writers' Studio

This Young Writers' Studio program welcomes high school students in grades 9–12 who want to develop their writing skills in a supportive group setting. Meeting every other week at the Thurber Center, participants work with facilitator Frances Wiley to explore creative writing through structured exercises and prompts designed to spark imagination and fresh ideas. Each session encourages students to experiment with different writing approaches, whether they're serious about the craft or simply enjoy putting their thoughts into words. It's a great fit for anyone looking to connect with other teen writers, get feedback, and challenge themselves to think creatively on the page.
