Wander Nights at Wanderlights
Free festive weekends in December with carousel rides, hot chocolate, Santa photos, and holiday market.
Wander Nights brings festive cheer to Downtown Columbus throughout early December with free activities the whole family can enjoy. Ride the carousel at no cost, warm up with complimentary hot chocolate, visit Santa for photos, and gather around fire pits with friends and family. An indoor holiday market offers shopping opportunities, and a free trolley lets you hop between multiple Wanderlights locations across Downtown—including Columbus Commons, Bicentennial Park, Lazarus Galleria, and Nationwide Children's Hospital's butterfly light display.
Each stop features its own holiday magic. Columbus Commons showcases a towering 40-foot illuminated tree, a glowing arch tunnel, and special light installations throughout the park and garage. West Town Street sparkles with twinkling decorations and lit penguin displays leading toward the Scioto Mile Fountain. Bicentennial Park's riverfront glows with sculptural fountain lighting, creating a beautiful winter scene. Whether your kids want to ride, explore, shop, or simply take in the lights, there's plenty to experience across all the Downtown locations without spending a dime on admission or trolley rides.
