The SoapGirls
The SoapGirls at Rumba Cafe
French-born sisters Noemie and Camille Debray, known as The SoapGirls, bring their distinctive alternative rock sound to Rumba Cafe. This dynamic duo has an inspiring origin story—they began as child street performers in Cape Town, selling handmade soap to support local hospitals, which inspired their band name. Since their breakthrough international hit "Boys Boys Boys" in 2009, they've built a fiercely independent career, writing, producing, and arranging all their own music and managing every aspect of their creative identity themselves.
The SoapGirls are known for their relentless touring schedule and "Revolt Rock" style that's earned them global recognition, including features in Rolling Stone and airplay on BBC Radio. Currently on their Rebel DNA world tour in 2026, they're performing brand-new material written entirely by the sisters. This is an all-ages show, making it accessible for families interested in live rock music. Tickets start at $20, with doors opening an hour before the performance begins.
