Step back in time and discover the stories of Connecticut settlers who established Westerville in 1806. This free program explores who these early pioneers were, what prompted them to make the journey, and how they built their lives in this new community. Learn firsthand accounts and historical details that bring this important chapter of local history to life. The event runs throughout the afternoon with presentations scheduled at 1:30, 2:15, and 3 p.m., so you can choose a time that works best for your family. Between presentations, the historic Hanby House opens its doors for self-guided tours from 1 to 4 p.m., giving you a chance to see where early Westerville families actually lived. There's no registration needed and admission is completely free, making it an accessible way to explore Ohio's pioneer heritage.
