The Long Table Retreat — A Weekend for Crafters

Spend a leisurely weekend doing what you love—at your own pace. The Long Table Retreat brings together ten makers for two full days of focused creative time in a quiet downtown studio. Whether you're a longtime sewist, knitter, embroiderer, or someone who works with fiber, paper, or any hand craft, you'll have space to finally give your projects the attention they deserve. There's no pressure to finish anything or produce a particular result, just an invitation to be fully present with your work alongside others who get it. The weekend balances structure with flexibility. Each day includes optional guided workshops on shared techniques (decided by the group beforehand), long stretches of uninterrupted studio time for whatever you're making, and short settling-in practices to help you arrive mentally. Coffee and tea are provided throughout both days. Registration is $250 per person, with a 15% discount available for past students. The retreat is designed for adults ages 18 and up and includes free parking. Bring your current projects, your tools, and lunch (or be ready to walk to nearby restaurants).
