Summer Music Series: A Classical Evening
Free ProMusica classical concert for all ages at Franklin Park Conservatory.
ProMusica presents a free concert featuring an exciting blend of classical masterworks and contemporary compositions. Under the direction of Music Director David Danzmayr, the evening opens with Vietnamese American composer Viet Cuong's "Next Week's Trees," followed by Mozart's elegant Flute Concerto No. 1, performed by principal flutist Nadine Hur. The program wraps up with Mendelssohn's lively "Italian" Symphony, bringing warmth and joy perfect for a summer evening.
This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your family to live orchestral music in a welcoming, no-cost setting. All ages are invited to enjoy the performance, making it accessible for families with children at different ages. The mix of familiar classical favorites alongside a modern composition offers something engaging for both seasoned concert-goers and first-time listeners.
