
Special Exhibit: Inside President Hayes’ Library
Free exhibit exploring President Hayes' personal library at Ohio History Connection.
Get a glimpse into the intellectual world of President Rutherford B. Hayes through this special exhibit focused on his personal book collection and literary influences. Hayes was an avid reader who amassed roughly 12,000 books during his lifetime and played a role in founding the Cincinnati Literacy Society. This exhibit invites visitors to explore the authors and ideas that shaped one of Ohio's presidents.
The exhibit runs through the end of June 2026 and is included with regular museum admission. Nonmember adults pay $20 (or $18 with AAA, military, or senior status), while children ages 6–12 are $5. Members of the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums get in free. Since seasonal hours vary, check rbhayes.org before your visit to plan your trip.
