Speak Easy: True Stories, Told Live

Speak Easy is a monthly storytelling event where real people share genuine moments from their lives with a supportive audience. Eight to ten speakers take the stage to tell personal, honest stories—think of it as a live conversation where everyone's experiences matter. This October's theme is "The Strange and the Spooky," so storytellers will be drawing from moments that felt unusual or unsettling. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with an open microphone setup that invites both listeners and potential tellers. Whether you come to hear others' stories or work up the courage to share your own, it's a chance to connect with your community in a meaningful way. Entry is by suggested donation of $10, though you're welcome to contribute whatever works for your budget. The event happens monthly on the third Thursday at 7:00pm at Wild Goose Creative.
