A sensory-friendly experience at the Columbus Zoo designed to welcome children and families with autism, sensory sensitivities, or anxiety. The zoo remains open with reduced crowds, lower noise levels, and a calm environment—giving kids space to explore animals at their own pace without the usual overwhelming stimulation. Staff are trained to support visitors with different needs, making it easier for families to enjoy the animals and exhibits together.
