Pumpkins Aglow
700+ glowing jack-o'-lanterns light up the Conservatory in a spooky-but-safe festival.
Step into a glowing autumn wonderland at Franklin Park Conservatory's Pumpkins Aglow festival. Over 700 hand-carved jack-o'-lanterns light up themed garden displays featuring pirates, spiders, skeletons, aliens, and more. The atmosphere is festive and spooky without being frightening, making it perfect for families with kids of various ages. You'll encounter roaming performers throughout the evening, and the conservatory grounds transform into an evening destination where you can wander at your own pace.
Beyond pumpkin gazing, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained. Food trucks offer casual dining options, specialty cocktails are available for adults, and a pop-up shop sells glass pumpkin décor. Families can also enjoy onsite crafts. The event runs Wednesday through Sunday evenings from October 7 through November 1, with standard hours from 5–9 p.m. and extended hours until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets go on sale August 31 at fpconservatory.org.
