Pre-K: Art Explorers
Toddlers explore art through conversation, movement & hands-on discovery at Columbus Museum of Art.
Art Explorers is designed for the youngest museum visitors—children ages 3 and 4—alongside their caregivers. During this program, families move through the galleries together, talking about what they see and engaging in hands-on activities. The focus is on helping young children develop language skills, spark curiosity, and build confidence while enjoying quality time with their grown-ups.
Throughout the session, you and your child will look closely at artwork, discuss observations, use your imaginations, and play together. These interactive experiences are meant to show you creative ways to engage your little one in learning during future visits to the museum and even at home. It's a gentle introduction to art that emphasizes exploration and connection over formal instruction.
