Perrysburg/Maumee Fireworks

Perrysburg and Maumee are joining together to bring back their traditional Independence Day fireworks celebration. The show will light up the sky for roughly 20 to 25 minutes, launching from the green space along the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge. If weather doesn't cooperate on the scheduled date, organizers have set a rain date for July 5, so families have flexibility in planning their evening. Several parks offer excellent vantage points for watching—head to Fort Meigs Historic Site, Riverside Park, or Orleans Park if you're on the Perrysburg side, or try the Towpath Trail from Maumee. Be aware that the bridge and nearby Rapids Road will be closed to traffic and pedestrians during the event for safety reasons, and various streets in both communities will have temporary closures to manage crowds. Plan your route ahead of time and consider arriving early to find parking in one of the recommended viewing areas away from restricted zones.
