PBS ‘Songs at the Center – LIVE!’ Coming to the Hinson Amphitheater August 16

Bring the whole family for a free afternoon celebrating music and American history! This PBS concert series event is part of New Albany's America 250 festivities, featuring performances that go beyond just the songs—you'll discover the stories and inspiration behind each piece. The show highlights Ohio's musical contributions to our nation's heritage, with performances running about 90 minutes. The lineup includes series creator Eric Gnezda, internationally recognized violinist Arkadiy Gips (known for touring with Madonna), and composer Erica Donahue. You'll also hear from talented New Albany Symphony Orchestra musicians performing alongside younger orchestra members. It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to experience live classical and contemporary music in an outdoor setting while learning about the artistry behind the performances.
