One Light: A Multi-Cultural Holiday Celebration

Oyo Dance Company brings families together for a festive celebration that honors the season's many traditions. Through an engaging mix of dance, music, and spoken word, the performance weaves together holiday customs from around the world—including Hanukkah, Christmas, Yule, Kwanzaa, Diwali, and Navidad Latina. It's a wonderful way to experience cultural diversity while enjoying the warmth and light that define winter celebrations. The show runs for one hour, making it a manageable length for families with younger children. Before and after the performance, guests can enjoy hot cocoa and cookies together, adding a cozy, communal element to the experience. This is a great outing for families looking to expand their holiday traditions and expose kids to the richness of celebrations beyond their own backgrounds.
