Nourish Jr.: Better Than The Coffee Shop

Do your kids love café drinks and pastries but you'd rather skip the expense and wait times? This hands-on class teaches young people how to recreate their favorite coffee-shop beverages and treats right in your own kitchen. Participants will learn to make hot, frozen, and iced non-caffeinated coffee drinks, signature flavored lemonades, and popular copycat beverages—all healthier and cheaper than what they'd order out. The class is designed for students in grades 4 through 8 and runs for 90 minutes at the Philip Heit Center Demo Kitchen. Your child will gain practical cooking skills and the confidence to prepare café-quality drinks at home. Registration is $35 per student.
