Modern Calligraphy & Pumpkin Lettering for Beginners at Grove City Brewing Company

Learn the fundamentals of modern calligraphy in this hands-on workshop led by Sip & Script. You'll spend 90 minutes getting comfortable with pointed dip pens and ink, starting with the basics and building confidence as you practice with tracing paper and letter guides. By the end of class, you'll apply your new skills to decorate faux pumpkins—perfect for Halloween décor, party gifts, or just for fun. All materials are included and yours to take home: two nibs, ink, guides, tracing paper, and a pen holder. This workshop welcomes absolute beginners of all ages (left-handed folks included!), as well as anyone returning to calligraphy who wants a refresher. Your ticket includes a 90-minute class, your beginner's calligraphy kit, all supplies for practice, and your choice of beer, wine, or a non-alcoholic beverage. Young attendees under 16 are welcome when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Arrive early to claim your seat and grab food from the venue's menu if you'd like—snacks and drinks are available throughout the session.
