Meet & Make: Cardboard Loom Weaving Series
Learn the relaxing art of weaving over four weeks in this hands-on, beginner-friendly series.
Get ready to slow down and create something beautiful with your hands. This four-week workshop series introduces families to the calming craft of cardboard loom weaving. You'll construct your own simple loom from cardboard and spend each session learning weaving fundamentals while making a one-of-a-kind textile piece. Using yarn, fabric scraps, and natural fibers, you'll play with colors and textures as you interlace threads in traditional over-under patterns. The program welcomes beginners of all skill levels—no prior experience required.
Throughout the series, you'll discover how to set up your loom and experiment with recycled materials, combining creativity with a focus on sustainability. All supplies are provided, so you just need to bring your imagination. Registration is required to participate.
