Magic Story Artistry with Yasu Ishida

Yasu Ishida brings Japanese culture to life through an interactive performance that blends theatre, music, magic, and storytelling. Families will experience traditional Japanese art forms while also learning origami hands-on. This hour-long program offers kids a chance to explore a different culture through multiple creative activities in an engaging, performative setting. This event works well for children ages 6–10 and takes place in the library's meeting room, which is handicapped accessible. The space holds up to 50 people, so seating is available for families.
