
Lift Like a Girl: Summer Session (Grades 8-12)
Strength training for teen girls at Philip Heit Center.
This summer program gives middle and high school students the chance to build strength, power, and speed in an encouraging, energetic setting. Classes combine individual workouts with team-based activities, all tailored to meet each participant where they are. The program also includes mobility training designed to improve overall movement quality and help prevent injuries—skills that translate to better athletic performance and everyday confidence.
Running Tuesday and Friday mornings from mid-June through mid-July, the eight-class series costs $136. Sessions meet at the Philip Heit Center, with classes held outdoors on the patio when weather allows, or in the lobby if it rains. This program is ideal for teens looking to develop athletic discipline and body awareness in a supportive group environment.
