Home School Workshops

Monthly art workshops for homeschool students grades 1–8 at Columbus Museum of Art.

Homeschool students in grades 1–8 are invited to a 90-minute workshop that combines creative making with gallery exploration. Each month brings a fresh theme based on the museum's studio prompts, giving kids new inspiration and skills to discover. During the session, your child will spend hands-on time creating in the Studio while also investigating the galleries through guided inquiry activities. Parents and caregivers have flexibility during the workshop—you're welcome to drop off your student and use the time for yourself. The adjacent studio space offers a place to connect with other homeschooling families, or you can relax in the galleries or grab a bite at the café. It's a chance for your child to engage meaningfully with art while you enjoy some breathing room.
