Historic Tools at the Hanby House

Step back in time and explore a fascinating collection of tools used in William Hanby's saddle-making business. During this free event, you'll get an up-close look at these preserved artifacts and learn about the craftsmanship and daily work of the past. The Hanby House will open its doors for visitors to tour the historic property, with special presentations happening three times throughout the afternoon so you can choose a time that works best for your family. Presentations run at 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3 p.m. in Shoemaker Cottage, located behind the main house. The venue stays open from 1–4 p.m., giving families flexibility to arrive when convenient. Best for curious kids and history enthusiasts of all ages, this program offers a tangible way to understand how people worked and lived in Ohio's past—and admission is completely free.
