Guided Tours of Ferris-Wright Park & Earthworks

Guided tours revealing thousands of years of history at Ferris-Wright Park.

Ferris-Wright Park holds thousands of years of history beneath its soil. This guided tour explores the ancient earthworks and early settlement that once thrived here, led by knowledgeable Dublin Heritage Interpreters. You'll discover stories connected to the Hopewell Culture, the Wyandot/Wyandotte Nation, and the area's first farmers, all while visiting what's believed to be Dublin's original framed house. The tour is completely free and offers hands-on learning opportunities for the whole family. Kids can handle replicas of ancient tools and technology to understand how people once lived on this land. There's also a chance to wander through the interpretive center's garden. It's a wonderful way to connect with local history and give children a real sense of how communities developed in central Ohio over centuries.
