Your family is invited to an outdoor concert experience that celebrates the fun side of classical music. Thanks to Honda's support, admission is completely free. Symphonic Surprise! features an orchestra performing pieces that shift from beautiful and calm to wild, silly, and totally unexpected—complete with buzzing bees, playful polkas, and familiar tunes kids actually know. It's designed to show families that orchestral music can be entertaining and full of surprises. Arrive early to take advantage of pre-show activities for all ages: glitter tattoos, face painting, balloon artists, an instrument petting zoo, and lawn games. During the concert, everyone gets free popcorn. After the music wraps up, the festivities continue with a screening of the movie Up. It's a great way to spend a summer evening downtown with minimal planning and zero ticket costs.
