Free Play

Your kids can come out and play at Columbus Commons with lots of options to explore. They can take a free carousel ride, play under a parachute, build with big blue blocks from the Imagination Playground, kick a soccer ball around, or simply make up their own activities. It's a great way to let loose in a downtown setting without any cost to your family. This free play session runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you'll find food options nearby if anyone gets hungry—Tortilla Street Food Café and Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams are both available. There's also a Little Free Library on-site if your kids want to grab a book. Free Play happens every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer months (May through September), weather permitting, so it's easy to make it a regular outing.
