Free Play

Your family can enjoy an afternoon of free, unstructured play at Columbus Commons. Kids can ride the carousel, play under a parachute, build with oversized blue blocks from the Imagination Playground, kick a soccer ball, or invent their own activities. There's no need to plan activities in advance—just show up and let your children explore what appeals to them most. While the kids play, you can grab food from Tortilla Street Food Café or treat everyone to ice cream from Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. There's also a Little Free Library on-site if anyone wants to pick up a book. This free play session happens regularly throughout the warmer months, so it's a great casual outing whenever you're looking for something to do Downtown. Please note that this event is weather dependent.
