Free Play

Your kids have plenty of ways to burn energy at this drop-in event Downtown. They can ride the Carousel, play under a parachute, build with oversized blue blocks from the Imagination Playground, kick a soccer ball, or create their own activities. There's no registration needed—just show up and let them play at their own pace. While the kids are having fun, you can grab refreshments from Tortilla Street Food Café or Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, and browse the Little Free Library for something to read. This free program runs every Tuesday and Thursday through September, so it's a great regular activity to add to your summer routine. Keep in mind it's weather dependent, so check conditions before heading out.
