Free Play

Your kids will have plenty to explore at this free outdoor play session in downtown Columbus. Set up stations feature everything from carousel rides and parachute play to building with oversized blue blocks and kicking a soccer ball around. Children can also get creative making their own activities and activities at the Little Free Library. It's an unstructured, come-and-go kind of afternoon—perfect for families who want some outdoor fun without a scheduled program. Food options are built in, so you can grab lunch or a snack from the nearby cafés without leaving the space. This free play series runs every Tuesday and Thursday from late spring through early fall, weather permitting, giving families regular chances to head downtown for some active, imaginative play. Just keep in mind that these sessions may be canceled during extreme heat or severe weather.
