Free carousel rides, imaginative block play, and games at Columbus Commons downtown.
Your kids can enjoy a whole afternoon of free play at Columbus Commons! There's plenty to keep them entertained—spin on the classic carousel, play under a parachute, build with the big blue Imagination Playground blocks, kick a soccer ball around, or let them create their own activities. It's a great way to burn energy while exploring downtown.
This recurring program runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the warmer months, so you can drop in whenever works best for your family. Hungry? Tortilla Street Food Café and Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams are on-site, and there's a Little Free Library if you want to grab a book. Best of all, it's completely free. Just keep an eye on the weather, as this event is subject to cancellation on particularly bad days.
