Your kids can enjoy a full afternoon of outdoor play at Columbus Commons with plenty of activities to choose from. There's a classic carousel ride, a parachute for group play, big blue building blocks from the Imagination Playground, soccer, and room to create their own games. It's completely free and designed for families who want unstructured time to explore and have fun together.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., giving you flexibility to drop by whenever works best. While you're there, you can grab lunch or a snack from the food vendors on-site, or pick up a book from the Little Free Library. This free play opportunity happens every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer (May through September), so it's easy to make it a regular outing. Just keep an eye on the weather, as the event may be canceled on days with poor conditions.
