Columbus Fashion Academy Mini Incubator

Over eight weeks, students in grades 3–5 dive into real fashion design at Columbus Fashion Academy's Mini Incubator program. Participants experience the complete design journey, starting with an idea and finishing with an actual wearable garment they've created themselves. Rather than following templates or working from kits, young designers make authentic decisions, tackle genuine challenges, and develop their own unique pieces. An experienced team of instructors guides students through this hands-on process in an intimate studio setting. This program is ideal for children who are curious about fashion, enjoy problem-solving, and want to build something meaningful from scratch. The Mini Incubator nurtures qualities like courage, kindness, sustainability awareness, and intentional thinking—all while teaching real design skills. It's a chance for third through fifth graders to discover whether fashion design sparks their passion and to see themselves as genuine creators.
