Bookmobile Visit | St. James Park

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Bookmobile will be stopping at St. James Park, giving families a chance to explore books, DVDs, CDs, and other materials right in your neighborhood. Kids can browse the juvenile collection, and adults will find everything from general reading to large-print titles. You can check out items on the spot or place holds on materials you'd like at a future visit—returns can be made either on the Bookmobile itself or at any library branch. Library staff will be there to help you get a library card if you need one and to offer personalized book recommendations. If you're planning to visit, know that the Bookmobile is equipped with wheelchair accessibility, including a dedicated accessible entrance with a platform lift. The interior has handrails for support, and the aisles are spacious enough for easier movement. Keep in mind the space is compact and may feel crowded during busy times, and you may notice engine sounds or outdoor noise depending on weather and traffic.
