Bigger Than Me: My Story, My Culture

This event brings together young authors and their families at the Columbus Book Festival. You'll have the opportunity to meet the children who participated in the Bigger Than Me program, which is a collaborative effort between Bexley Public Library and The Ohio State University. Through this initiative, kids research their own family histories and cultures, then write and publish their own books—a meaningful way for them to explore and share their identities. It's a wonderful chance to celebrate children's creativity and learn about the diverse stories in your community. Whether your family is interested in seeing what young writers can accomplish or simply enjoys browsing a book festival, this event offers something special. The festival runs across two days at Topiary Park, giving you flexibility in when to stop by and connect with these young authors.
