Strength-training class designed for elementary boys at Philip Heit Center.

**Be Strong (Boys in Grades 4-7): Summer Series 1** This five-week program introduces young athletes to strength training using nothing but their own body weight. Led by Alex, a certified personal trainer with experience at multiple fitness facilities, the class prioritizes proper form from day one. Boys will learn the fundamentals of movements like squats, pushups, and lunges, understanding how to perform each exercise correctly before moving on to more complex variations. As the series progresses, participants will combine these foundational movements into dynamic workouts designed to build muscle endurance, agility, and power. The instruction emphasizes creating a welcoming environment where kids of any fitness level can learn and gain confidence in their strength. The program costs $70 per person for the entire five-week series and takes place at the OSU Fitness Studio in the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany.
