Be Strong (boys in grades 4-7) Fall series
Strength and fitness program designed for elementary and middle-school boys.
This fall program introduces elementary and middle school boys to strength training using just their own body weight. Instructors focus on teaching correct form for essential movements like squats, push-ups, and lunges, along with safe variations to build strength gradually. As participants gain confidence and skill, workouts become more dynamic, incorporating exercises that boost agility, endurance, and power while keeping proper technique at the center.
The nine-week series runs Monday afternoons from mid-September through mid-November at the Philip Heit Center. Registration is $126 per person for the full session. This is a great option for boys who want to develop fitness fundamentals in a supportive, instructional environment. For more details or to sign up, contact Healthy New Albany Programs.
