Adventure Eagles is an outdoor exploration class designed for students who are curious about nature and want to develop practical wilderness skills. Throughout the six-week session, participants will learn to build shelters, start fires, and understand basic survival techniques while exploring the natural areas surrounding New Albany's school campus. This hands-on program encourages teamwork and helps young people feel comfortable trying new things in an outdoor setting. To join, students should come prepared for changing weather conditions and be ready to work collaboratively with their classmates. NAPLS Intermediate School students have the convenient option of being picked up after school and transported directly to Swickard Woods by Jacob Bentley—just select this choice during registration. All other students can be dropped off at Swickard Woods before the program begins. The cost is $195 per student for the complete six-week series.
