To opt-in, simply choose this option on the Permission Form during registration. Students who do not attend NAPLS Intermediate School – can be dropped off at Swickard Woods right before the program starts.

Outdoor nature adventure program for intermediate-school students at Swickard Woods.

Adventure Eagles gives students a chance to get outside and discover what nature has to offer right here in the New Albany area. Over the course of six weeks, kids will learn practical outdoor skills like building shelters, starting fires safely, and understanding survival basics. They'll also spend time exploring the natural spaces around the school campus. This program works best for young people who are curious about the outdoors and ready to work together as a group while trying new things. Students should come dressed for whatever the weather brings that day. If your child attends NAPLS Intermediate School, transportation can be arranged—just select that option when you register, and Jacob Bentley will pick them up after school and bring them directly to Swickard Woods. For students elsewhere, drop-off is available right before the program begins. The cost is $195 per student for the full six-week series.
